Words can't really describe the beauty of Italy; it was even hard to capture it through photos... it was one of those were you "have to be there" to experience it.
It was definitely more than what I could have hoped for... it was a beautiful trip with
amazing, talented people to hang with.
I hope you can see through these favorite photos of mine, how much I enjoyed being there.
It was my first time in Italy, but I sure hope it won't be my last.

Every thursday, my dad has the day off so I spent it with both my parents... it's our ritual to always go have breakfast, lunch and dinner and do some shopping on Thursday. It's our bonding time!
Speaking of shopping... I have happy news! We finally re-stocked (AGAIN!) on our DBA tees and sweaters!! They've honestly become a staple... make sure to get yours

If I could dress in one look everyday, it would definitely have to be this.
I've been into buying more basics lately and it makes all the difference in my wardrobe.
Seriously. But I have yet to find the perfect grey tee though; this one's great, I love the color but it's
a tad bit too short. Ladies, a grey tee is a must in your wardrobe! Such a staple and so versatile!
oh and my sneaker collection, keeps growing... I have my eye on some New Balance but haven't been able to track them down!
In other great news, last month I worked with my friends over at
Foam magazine (January/February '13) on a really fun spread for this month's Blogger Issue magazine (It's out on stands already, go get it!) It was paradise- the stylist had amazing racks of clothes and shoes that it was hard to narrow looks down! We shot over 12 looks; my hair + makeup girls (hi Jen and Nicole!) did soooo good- i loved my hair styles and makeup look!
So flattered for this spread as they're calling me the Mix Master! Check out the magazine out now; it has tons of other bloggers featured! A must read!

Hi! Super quick post today-
You might look at these photos and think,"wait? Why is she dressed like it's summer?". Well I thought the same way last week when I was getting dressed for the day- I found myself reaching out for cut-off shorts, tees, and even sandals! We had a week full of 80+ degree weather last week; totally felt like summer hence this look!
I wore some of my favorite pieces; this camo vintage tee I picked up at the Rosebowl flea market for like 7 bucks and this vintage super distressed Levi's jacket. I love that pretty much this whole look is made out of cotton; makes my heart happy!
Speaking of cotton, we are in Round 2 of voting in the Road to the Runway campaign leading up to Cotton's 24 Hour Runway show in March!! I honestly can't believe how time flies! I remember telling you guys about this campaign back in like November and now we are near the finish line..It's been so awesome seeing all the cool street style looks from around the nation and seeing it narrow down to 4 looks per nation is amazing! | Let's talk about this jacket- you first saw me wear it back in September for fashion week (here) and it's one of my favorite jackets because of it's unique look- cool blue and the rad spikes. I had the absolute pleasure of being able to work with the Rachel Roy team to shoot behind-the-scene
photos for their Summer Campaign- which we shot last week in Venice Beach. It was a really fun experience for me because not only did I get to see the collection firsthand, but I got to be behind the lens and shoot photos; which I hardly get to do because I'm always in front of the camera.

Super excited to share this quick post which took place last September in New York during fashion week, whoa! Time flies! My good friends at
Polyvore and I visited the
Meredith Wendell studio to check out their latest collection and also work on a secret project that has been in the works ever since!!
I can't express to you how excited I am to announce what we have been working on, but those details will come soon! You guys will looooooooooooooove it though; because I'm head over heels for it.
Meredith Wendell is part of Polyvore's Designer Collective, which is a cool program where they work with small brands to help promote them, give them an e-commerce platform, collaborate on projects and connect them with the most influential Polyvore members. It's thrilling to take part of this new project with Polyvore.

These Samba sneakers are classic and are so versatile! Perfect for those long days of errands, walking around and comfort.. I paired it with a dress to feel more "dressed up"!
I wore this look to run errands and check out office spaces- so excited! SincerelyJules is growing so much and decided I need a creative office space for the blog but also for my shop -
to do my packing, shipping, orders, etc from!

Greetings from chilly New York City!
Currently bundled up in the NY for fashion week.. can't ever express to you how much I hate the snow and being cold. Being from Cali, I've been quite spoiled. Love being here regardless, but makes it a bit difficult to look cool with layers and layers of clothes, you know?
Wore this on my last day in LA before coming here for last minute meetings and errands; the Target sunnies have been so fun to wear too!
Speaking of outfits and Cali, wanted to update you on the progress of
Cotton's Road to the Runway campaign! We are now officially in Round 3 which means we are that much more closer to the finale which is sooo exciting! Currently, two finalists from each region are going head to head to battle it out!
From my region (WEST) its so close, and the two girls are super cute!

First day of NYFW, consisted of welcoming blizzard Nemo. Not the best way to start off fashion week but everyone did make the best out of it which was refreshing to see!
I started off my day working and catching up on emails and attending a couple of shows at Lincoln Center...
Rebecca Minkoff's show was on point, like always. Her oversized coats, and leather pieces were something to lust over.
Anyway, this faux fur coat was definitely my best purchase for nyfw (it's on sale too!).. the colors are probably one of my favorite palettes and it's surprisingly really warm!
Off to rest a little then off to some more shows!

Second day of fashion week and the weather cleared up a little, allowing me to walk around in more "fashion week appropriate" shoes other than my sneakers. This dress over jeans ensemble is a little funkier than my usual but it's fashion week, so anything goes... besides, Herve Leger's show on Saturday had this sorta styling going on the runway too. (dress over pants/leggings)
ps I loove Three Floor- the jacket and dress were the perfect pieces to help brighten up the chilly weather!
Just a few more days and I'm back home in LA, which Im happy about!

Hii!
It's been a few days now into nyfw and it's been so good to hang with all my blogger friends from around the globe- it's always the icing on the cake! The shows, the parties, events, meetings, etc.. it's all fun and amazing but can be overwhelming at times. To keep me going through out 10-12 hour days is dressing comfortably and wearing pieces that can be transformed from day to night!
One of my favorite style looks I have been wearing during nyfw is this effortless-edge look. You know kinda like "I don't really care what I throw on, just want to look cool" sorta thing? Yeah, well that was this day.. I kept it really low-key and just attended a few meetings and visited a few showrooms so this effortless-edge look got the job done!

With all the chaos that fashion week brings, you hardly feel like there's enough time for everything on your agenda to check off. I know that for me, I always make sure to go all out the first few days I arrive (with shows, appointments, showroom visits, meetings, events, etc) then I slow down a bit and make sure I keep things a bit more mellow to help keep me under pressure.
While all the fashion week happenings were taken place in New York, I was also tuning into the tight race that was taken place over with my friends at
Cotton's Road to the Runway campaign! After all those months of voting, we have finally announced the winners that are going to
Cotton's 24 Hour Runway Show!! I'm so excited for them! Hallie S. from Los Angeles, CA will be representing my region, the West. She's super cute- her style is fun, bold, and fresh!
