I Love New York
Booties: Stuart Weitzman | Beanie: Marc Jacobs | Bag: Celine
As my last morning in New York came to an end, I was excited to wear this 'I love NY' sweater that I bought at the local shop near where we were staying. It ended up being the warmest piece in my luggage so I was bummed I bought it a day before I came back home. It's funny because as we were taking these photos and before we headed straight to the airport after, all the cars passing us by kept yelling all kinds of things regarding my sweatshirt... they were definitely hard-core New Yorkers!
In other news, make sure you stay updated with all Cotton 24Hour Runway show happeningshere, as we are wrapping up the campaign with the final phase- the Runway show next week! ah!
Crazy to think that back 4/5 months ago we started this amazing campaign about scouting the best cotton street style all over the nation and to finally come close to the end is exciting yet makes me sad!
I've been so blessed to work with Cotton and everyone else involved ( Ryan and Danielle!) as well as all myFashion Influencer girls! So proud of the campaign, and I'd love it if you guys join us and all the hard work we've put in to making this runway show a huge success by watching it online-
It will be streaming live on March 1st at 8pm EST on Cotton24Hours
thank you!

One of my favorite things about living in LA, is being able to roam the streets of downtown, admire all the pretty tall buildings, do some light shopping in the Fashion District and eat at some of the best places in town! One of them being, Bottega Louie. OMG. It really is my go-to place for everything; lunch meetings, birthdays, brunch, dinners. The service is impeccable and the food is just amazing... best of all though? They have the prettiest pastries + macaroons! |
Sickest flats I own; they're totally show stoppers and so comfy! love! |
My all time fave Bottega Louie pizza- Pepperoni, sausage, mozzarella cheese and mushroom. |
Delicious macarons; so cute! |
They look too pretty to eat- so you can just imagine how they taste! |

Easy-breezy! Throw on your fave pair of heels to amp up your ripped jeans!... ohh, I'm wearing my hair super straight, time for a change! Next up? New cut soon! ( just trying to build up courage!!) |
I always love pairing different prints, colors and textures all together. Makes any look much more interesting! |
Bag: Temoc Gonzalez x Harvey's |
It's been a while since I actually wore heels throughout the whole day (besides events, parties of course). As you know, I like heels but it's not really my thing to wear them on a everyday bases. It's not practical; for me at least. I run around town from morning to night, so heels are the last pair of shoes I reach out for because I have to be comfortable and be able to last all day.
My go-to shoes are definitely sneakers and boots/flats...
I have somehow learned how to make them look more chic-appropriate, which makes it harder for me to stop wearing them.
Yesterday though, I woke up feeling like wearing my newest pair. Definitely picked the right day because the weather was sunny and very LA, plus these thick strappy heels are perfect to go from day to night! (which I ended up doing; just switched out to a pair of ripped black skinny jeans!)
xx
See you guys soon,
Happy Thursday!

Photo Diary.
Greetings from South Beach in Miami!
I'm sooo excited to be here- it's my first time! I'm already loving the vibe, weather, scenery and people!
After I was all settled into the hotel yesterday, I got dressed and headed to the roof top of the hotel for a cocktail party that Cotton was throwing in celebration
of the 24Hour Runway show that's happening this weekend! It was great to be reunited with the Cotton team, and my other blogger partners in the campaign! Also, it was so fun meeting the 6 winners of the campaign- we've all worked so hard to get to this final phase so to see it all come together and meet everyone else, is VERY exciting. trust me.
Be sure to check out the show tonight streamed live HERE (at 8pm EST)
It's going to be something so fun that you don't want to miss!
(lauren conrad, dj cassidy, camilla belle, louise roe and more will all be here!)
See you there!

As we start the new week (yay!), I'm a little bummed that the weekend is over though because we finally wrapped up the Cotton 24 Hour Runway Show campaign on Saturday! Definitely going to miss it. It turned out to be a huge success with 1,440 amazing cotton looks in 24 hours, great music, vibe and people! I was nervous because I was interviewed in front of the audience (it was live streamed too) while the looks I styled walked down the runway but it turned out to be super fun though.
I ended up wearing this pretty skirt (so Miami appropriate!) for the show on Saturday, and thought I'd pair it with something a little more casual, so the tee definitely helped.
Stay tuned for more of South Beach!

Meredith Wendell x Sincerely Jules
Finally! The secret can finally be revealed after months of working on it and keepin' it from you.
Ta-da!! My collaboration with the amazing power couple Meredith Wendell is of this super cool
handbag we both designed called, Saucy Pan. (ah! Dream come true!)
handbag we both designed called, Saucy Pan. (ah! Dream come true!)
I was invited by Polyvore to design this exclusive bag with the brand, who is a member of the
Polyvore Designer Collective.
As you've probably seen previously during my MW studio visit here, I talked a little about
what was to come and my excitement to partner with Meredith Wendell.
Now, after several of months hard work and planning, I'm so proud to announce and show you guys the bag!
It's really a beauty- the colors are playful but in a more grown up-chic way, it has a sport-lux feel and all the different textures (leather, raffia etc) add a versatile look. We wanted to incorporate small details like the pop of neon in the tassle and the bronzy cross body strap to really help give the bag that extra oomph. It's the perfect size - not too big or too small- for all your go-to essentials like wallet, phone, lipstick, keys, and a few other of your fave must-haves.
What's so cool about the bag is that you can wear it 3 ways! (cross body, top handle and clutch; the straps are removable!)

Ok, I'll stop rambling! I'm just so excited... it was such a joy to work with Polyvore and Meredith Wendell. Having a bag designed with my name is pretty major! I really hope you guys love it just as much as I loved designing it!
And to top the icing on the cake with this collaboration, Bloomingdale's will be selling the bag online and a few selected stores ( Newport/Fashion Island, San Francisco Centre, South Coast Plaza, Aventura, Boca Raton Town Center) , soooo exciting!!

Miami, I miss you already. |
Last look from Miami! I've never really been a fan of maxi dresses; I just feel like they're not flattering on my body type so I always stay away from them. But since I was in Miami, I thought the dress was so appropriate but I definitely tried to toughen it up with my all-time fave jacket because I'm one to always toughen things up with a certain piece.
Anyway, getting ready for the weekend... and btw new DBA tees and sweaters are back in stock!
Shop here! Yay!
Happy weekend,

Mirror, Mirror...
Ok, this is serious. I must have over 12 bottles of perfume. I love scents so I'm constantly splurging on good ones, but don't get me wrong, I'll buy inexpensive ones too. Right now, I'm totally diggin' Marc Jacobs Daisy Sunshine. It's sweet, soft, and has the right amount of citrusy touch! Everytime I wear it I get asked what perfume I have on- it smells really fresh! #mjdaisychain I always had trouble finding the "right" mascara.. never had one that really made my lashes stay up or that made them voluminous. After many, many visits to Sephora and Rite Aid to try and find "the one", I've finally found a couple that I love and won't stop using. This YSL Shocking mascara (volume effect). It really does the trick without having to use too many coats! I have thin, lashes so this really gives it an extra oomph. I also loveDior's Diorshow mascara; I've been using this one longer and it's my ultimate favorite. It's long-lasting, makes my lashes stay curl and gives me volume! I also love Maybelline's Lash Discovery Waterproof mascara- perfect for reaching the hidden lashes! |
You have to have good brushes to apply your make-up with; I know they can be a bit pricey but it will make all the difference when you start applying your make-up. Invest in a couple of good ones; like powder, blush and foundation brushes. Above is my favorite-NARS Botan brush. It's a kabuki brush that's perfect for applying powder, blending and buffing! I'm not really of an eyeshadow type of girl because I don't know how to successfully achieve a cool look with eyeshadows. However, I do own a few palettes because I do like to just add a bit of nudes/browns to my lids and add a brown liner for a fresh looking day-time wear smokey eye. I do wear lighter shades underneath my brow for some definition and glow. This Estee Lauderpalette has been my go-to for a golden touch on my eyes. The teal and orange I'll only use for special events or when my best friend is around to apply it! |
For lips, I'm obsessed with having the perfect soft pink/nude lipstick. My skin complexion is tanned and I feel like these shades always complement my skin tone a lot better than say, bright ones. I have 4 favorites that I literally buy two of every time I go and buy them (one for my purse and one in my car/or house). Lately I've been reaching out for this Estee Lauder in Pinkadelic 01. Gives me the right amount of blush tone pink on my lips! Looks so natural! For my inexpensive lipsticks, I always wear Maybelline's Baby Lips in Pink Punch. This is seriously, my hands-down favorite. I religiously wear this thing! Always carry it with me- always. Sometimes on top of that one, I wearLaura Mercier's HydraTint balm. You guys always ask me what lipstick I'm wearing in my photos and those two are always it! ps- always carry bobby pins! I do!... they come in handy, all the time. |
I love me some blush and bronzer. I've been wearing the two for as long as I can remember. I usually wear MAC's Prism blush and Physicians Formula bronzer. Recently, I discovered Lorac's blush/bronzer duo in Hot & Spicy and fell in love! Now I don't have to carry both my blush and bronzer palettes and can carry them in one! Plus, it gives me a nice shimmer when I apply it on the apples of my cheek! The Rimmel ScandalEyes eyeshadow stick is great too, I use this only on the inside of my tear duct to help open up my eyes and it also looks pretty in photos! Below is a fun little collage to go along with this beauty post! Totally freshening up and wearing vibrants colors for this spring! Cant wait! Follow me on Polyvore and you can see all my collages! |
