This fringe lil' number is something I had been missing in my closet; have always liked fringe but never

wanted something that was overboard fringe- this is the perfect amount. For fall I imagine it wearing it

with a green parka jacket and booties!

I try to have it a bit color coordinated but sometimes it's hard to keep it up because I'm always in a rush. But I love thin, black velvet hangers.. gives you more space while looking chic! You can find it at Costco or Target.

My wall behind my desk constantly changes and it keeps me inspired! Clip magazine tears, cool photos, sayings, letters, stickers, fabric, prints, pretty much anything that inspires you- put it up on your board or wall for great eye candy!

My armswag collection has grown intensively! I don't even have storage for it any more! So for easy access, I use this pretty tray (which I never gave back to my sister Ari! oops!) that she got from UO, and color coordinate them.

First thing I look at when I wake up- keeps me calm and re-assures me that everything will be fine before my day begins!

I love having my shoes displayed on the wall; they look so pretty plus it looks more organized. Bought the shelve displays at Ikea.

I just put my perfumes on top of my vanity because I'm constantly reaching out for them..arrange them in a way that looks good- always arrange the taller perfumes (or things in general) in the middle so your eye goes directly to the middle and draws attention up, complement the display by arranging smaller to medium items around the taller ones.

Bought this cute jewelry display for $15 at Home Goods (they have great stuff!). Here i put my most favorite pieces! Looks like a mini window display!

Closer look at my desk; desktop, thank you notes that always brighten up my day from my love,  business cards, candles, picture frames, dried up flowers.

Many of you asked to see a glimpse of my room and how I decorate/organize certain things!

Spent the weekend in San Diego with my big sis and it was really nice to spend quality time together because she has such a hectic/busy schedule and with her 3 kids/husband,
 it's hard sometimes to hang out and catch up so the weekend getaway was fun and refreshing!
Thanks sis for the the great food, shopping, and conversation!

Seems like august and september are coming and going already- crazy!-..I have a kinda busy two months ahead but I'm excited!

This pretty lil' dress came at the right time as the heat wave in LA keeps on getting crazier- 

Fall, can you come sooner?

I tied a knot on the front part of the dress to add a special detail to my overall look and added

my go-to vintage shorts for a fun, cool and laidback look to help me cool down

on this hot ass weather!

Tip:  Don't be afraid to try new little things to your looks; tying as something as simple as a knot on your dress, will automatically turn your dress into a whole new look and it'll make you stand out!

1. The jeans from my 'American' post on monday are by SweetCamel , which I scored at a thrift store.

2. No, my tan isn't fake. This is my natural skin color... but I do tend to get tanned easily in the sun when I lay out, especially my legs.

3. The camo iphone case from yesterdays post is from J.Crew (not in stores anymore, its from a couple seasons ago), I got mine on Ebay.

4. The red nail polish from my last post is Sally Hansen's Insta-Dri in 280 Rapid Red

I swear, every time I spend time at the beach I feel so inspired to try new things, to travel to new places,

 to take things to the next level, to not settle, to dream bigger, to work harder, to enjoy life more,

 to be better... the list goes on and on....which is one of the biggest reasons I love coming to the beach because it keeps me on my toes while I enjoy the beauty of life/nature.

 I think it's important for us to constantly feel inspired so that we can use that as motivation to accomplish the things we always wanted. I know it's hard to take that first step in achieving what you set out for but time can't be bought, returned or fast-forward, so whatever you wanna do, do it NOW.

Don't leave things 'till tomorrow, tomorrow is not promised.

Just some food for thought in hopes of inspiring you today.

Oh, Pretty Things! by sincerelyjules featuring a winter white skirt

Polyvore time! I always love playing dressing up with Polyvore's endless items, seriously feels
like I'm raiding someone's closet. Anyway, for this set, (which is a collage layout, it's a Polyvore term)
 I thought I'd share with you a beachy look that was inspired by the B&W photograph in the set. It's an easy look that you can re-create
 if you're off to the beach or vacation- using really basic pieces that can be
 versatile in your summer wardrobe.

This pretty blouse had to come home with me this weekend as soon as I laid eyes on it- the cut definitely sold me on it; it was loose and a bit more sleek than most peplum blouse I've runned into.

 Pairing it with feminine flats like these MJ ones (which for some reason remind me of Alexa Chung), definitely toned down the blouse for a more relaxed day-time look. It was the perfect look for a fun

outing in the city yesterday!

Been feelin' a little too cool wearing my IM sneakers lately.. they kinda seem to go with a lot things and I like that it dresses down my looks and makes them feel a tad bit more cooler. A couple of things that I picked up recently while shopping in San Diego and Santa Monica.

I've always been obsessed with my army parka jacket- it's definitely a staple we should all have- and tend to reach out for it every season, but this time I was craving the camo print jacket to replace my parka jacket. The camo print definitely gives me the same effect I want in my looks ( tough, grungy-ness) as the parka, but with the camo print it adds a bit more of a eclectic-ness to my looks.

Besides, camo print is so hot this season.. :)

The pumps I envisioned dressing with loose vintage levi's jeans (rolled up or cropped) and tees.. the simpler the outfit the cooler the pumps will look.

I'm totally a tee and ripped jeans kinda' girl. Small details can really personalize your look and these crazy print pumps and my current fave necklace by my girl Karla Deras definitely make this outfit a lot more interesting! This dress was hidden all the way in the back of my closet and finally pulled it out for a much needed twirl yesterday. I love how easy and pretty looking it is- not to mention, its such a transitional dress that pretty much goes with anything and any season. I paired it with the new Jett boots designed by
my lovely friends, Suarez sisters (NatalieOffDuty and Color Me Nana), in collaboration with Modern Vice. I had been longing for some boots that looked like these, and ta-da! These girls did just that!
They're so cool and way too comfortable for my own good (I'm afraid I'll be livin' in them from now on)...

Thank you Nat & DY, you guys killed it with this shoe!

Some refreshing news! I'm excited to partner up with Diet Coke to help showcase their new can look! Their new can logo design will be available this fall- the design is cropped to feature the "D" and the "K" set against their signature silver backdrop (which I absolutely love! Looks a lot more cool and chic, don't ya think?) Definitely makes drinking it more fashion forward. 

Earlier in the year, Diet Coke teamed up with the CFDA to invite up and coming design students to submit a tshirt design that would be sold in Target! Pretty cool, right? 

( it will be sold Sept 2nd in Target) 

Anyway, Diet Coke will be very much involved during NYFW this season and I'm

 excited to attend their party they're hosting with Glamour Magazine, "Glamour Live 

presented by Diet Coke" which will feature fashion, refreshment, a special performance

 and an insane guest list (like L'Wren Scott, Cynthia Rowley, Zac Posen and more!) 

I'll be there Sept 5th in NYC to bring you guys live coverage (via my twitter & instagram so follow me!) and cool photos! So stay

The Melrose Trading post is definitely somewhere that I love to go but hardly everrrrr go ( I always forget about it!) so my boy and I decided to check it out yesterday. Didn't really score much, but these cool vintage shades pictured below. It was such a find! They're vintage frames but restored with Oliver Peoples lenses! Swooon! Anyway, panic mode now! Have a million things to do before NYFW and I have yet to finish them... should get started now! Hopefully I see some of my LA peeps for my FNO event with Paige Denim... can't wait to meet you all! xx
