My girl Raych and I took a quick visit to hang with Jenny at her job
and to also check out the new spring collection from Kasil Workshop!
 Took a little time out to snap some photos (above) indoor- while it was
really hard to keep a straight face with these two- I love the indoor shots, definitely
nice to switch it up a bit from your regular "streetstyle" look shots.

Following my Military Style Looks post from earlier, here is another example of how you
can style your military jacket! This time I threw on my cool Dr. Martens for a grungy look!

You guys left a lot of great suggestions/ideas on what you'd like to see more on my blog!
Definitely wrote a whole list of all the suggestions you guys left so that I can start 
covering those topics on my blog soon! I'm excited!

 Picked up this cropped blazer over the weekend at a sample sale and was bummed to find
out the line was discontinued - they had amazing, structured blazers + jackets!
 Luckily, I ended up with their last blazer... this one reminds a 
lot of my pink blazer here.
Anyway, I have a busy kinda day today... I will be visiting a few
 showrooms to checkout the new collections and I will snap some photos for you guys,
 having a meeting later in the evening and a lot of errands in between.

Wore this outfit to a quick meeting yesterday; I got so many compliments on this
color combo.. it's all about mixin' n' matching unexpected pieces and/or colors!

 Head to Toe: Madewell

Last night's event at Madewell in the Americana was so much fun!
Being able to host at one of my favorite stores/brands AND at one of my favorite
places is the total package! The music, drinks, DJ, clothes and stylish people
was the icing on the cake... 
definitely one of the most amazing/memorable experiences I've had!!

Thank you to everyone who came out to the event- it was really nice to meet some of you and
chat about all things fashion and blogging.
Special thank you to Haewan, Sophia and the whole Americana team for being amazing to work with
and doing such a lovely job in putting everything together +
 the Madewell store/team ( Dana, Molly, Marco, Hanah and everyone else )
 for allowing me to host!

Mixing all kinds of elements is my absolutely favorite part about getting dressed. 
As you can probably tell from my style- I tend to gravitates towards more casual, effortless looks.
I love mixin & matching dressier pieces with non-dressier pieces hence the ripped skinnies with
this silk pin stripe blouse/pumps. Something about looking undone/unperfect gets me everytime..

On a side note, I tweeted yesterday that I'm contemplating whether or not to chop off my hair to
a short do! I'm kinda bored of my long locks + bangs + ombre hair.. long hair has been a huuuuuuge part of me and I've never had it short so cutting it is a big deal. Will keep looking for
inspiration but until then...my long hair will have to do. Like my fishtail braid I decided to
do? It's in part with wanting to cut my hair... so send ideas of how I can style my hair until I 
decide whether to chop it off or not! Can't wait to hear your ideas!

Excited to finally share these photos that were taken back in February for the launch of Givenchy's
Very Irresistible Electric Rose fragrance! Liv Tyler, the fragance's muse, performs in a
reinterpretation of the INXS hit, "Need you Tonight" for the fragance too!

To help celebrate the launch, Givenchy teamed up with 9 international bloggers
for the campaign! Above are some of the shots for my part; a bit rock n' roll-ish!
Can't stress how much I'm a fan of the fragrance- hope you guys enjoy!

These trousers from RavenDenim have become my quick go-to item for when I'm stuck on what
to wear. They're beyond comfy, versatile, classic and perfect....oh and the color is pretty rad too. 
major swoon.<3

Styling tip: 
Opt for a darker khaki shade- it looks a bit more fresh and modern and try cuffing them- 
helps show off your heels + adds a bit more character to your look and looks more fun/casual.
Investment tip:
Buying a pair of khaki trousers is not only a staple piece for your wardrobe but you
will find that they go with just about anything in your closet!
 It's a great alternative for your everyday jeans!

So I'm always scouring the internet to add things to my wishlist or to discover new 
items/designers, etc. I thought I'd share some of my current picks for the month of April-
it's not always about clothes/fashion for me so when I'm shopping
 I love buying things like pencils, cute blankets, home decor, and such.

For April, I'm really feeling the spirit of spring; picking up a bikini for when I hit the beach,
writing with adorable pencils all of my ideas + sketches, a fancy journal to serve as my canvas for
all my thoughts + to-do lists, cozy colorful wrap for my room (adds the perfect amount of color to any space), sweet & simple necklaces over tees, red lips for a new change and uber chic strappy heels
to alternate between my sandals and sneakers for the warm weather!
