Coat: Gryphon (Bib + Tuck) | Blouse: MYNE | Shorts: Johnson | Clutch: Claire Vivier | Sneakers: Jack Purcell Converse | Prescription Glasses: Warby Parker

Third round of Bib + Tuck's Forward Fashion Project is up next and I got this pretty
sick Gryphon coat to style up! Was pretty excited to wear this coat since I don't have anything like it- it's fresh, its cool and I knew I had to play with different patterns to make it more interesting.
The coat was perfect for the L.A weather we are having right now- between 70-80 degrees- it was light enough to cover me from the chilly breeze.
Since i've been on a sneaker marathon (forget the heels!), I decided to pair up my on-the-go look with my new Purcell's to run around town in getting my errands done.
I love that it dresses down this whole look without it looking too simple.
To finish off the look, I threw on my fave glasses to wear for the whole day (not just to drive like I always do) and braided my hair- ended up taking off the braid because it just wasn't doing it for me,
it happens sometimes, right?
Stay tuned for round 4!

I like to refer my instagram as my mini blog- full of instant pics that show you glimpses of my life!
So cute!!
Here are my fave shots for today's post( from right to left):
1. Sitting in traffic, I tend to wander out the window and just snap, snap, snap photos! Captured this awesome view while sitting in traffic- total essence of L.A.
2. My new purchase..totally loving this white leather jacket I picked up at Zara! Perfect for
New York next week!
3. Visiting Disneyland last Sunday..definitely had to get me the Minnie ears..i mean, it's only appropriate.
4. Amazing burger + fries lunch at Swingers in Santa Monica...nom nom nom.
5. Still love these funky wedges which I had to pair up with a vintage necklace for some ankle love.
6. Disney castle!
Wore a French Connect dress (worn as a top) with skinny Gap jeans and Zara flats!
7. Loving my new Twelfth Street by Cynthia Vincent blouse- perfect kinda ombre.
8. Pretty vintage spider brooch worn with my vintage levi's vest.
9. Cool Jennifer Hope dress and messy bun!
10. Hanging with my Aimee for dinner.
11. Love layering necklaces like this!
12. Yummy Bottega Louie pastries...heaven.

Trousers: Elizabeth and James (c/o Bib + Tuck) || Blouse: F21 || Bag: Vintage Gucci || Boots: Tila March Paris || Tassel necklace: Madewell (cool one here) || Triangle dainty necklace: Albeit || Nail color: O.P.I's Pink Friday (obsessed with this color!)

Starting off the week with a new item from my Bib + Tuck project!
I couldn't wait to get these trousers when I saw them on the other girls...but was a
little worried I was going to have a hard time styling them! The beautiful 78+ degree weather in L.A definitely helped me style my look since it felt like spring/summer!
I went for a more boho-chic look since I felt the silhouette and nijinsky print of the trousers reflected that look. Definitely the most comfortable and coolest trousers I've tried on..
I could easily live in them during the spring/summer.
They're so coachella too. swoon.
happy muuun-day!

Re-working some old faves into my outfits lately and it feel so good to be able to find new ways
to wear certain pieces. I think, people get caught up in wanting to buy clothes so often and wanting to get whatever is "in" at the moment that they forget to learn how to re-use their old pieces.
The beauty of fashion and having true style is knowing how to re-work pieces you already have- not only are you saving but it shows you how versatile your style can be!

On to some more exciting news... Omg, omg, omg! Very, very excited and flattered to be picked as one of the bloggers to be walking down the runway for Polyvore Live and Covergirl (FIT's four alumni students will showcase their collections) that will be taking place during new york fashion week on Monday 2/13, so stay tuned as it will be live streamed! I'm beyond nervous to be genuinely honest... it's completely out of my comfort zone but I know that it will be so much fun especially since it'll be with some my fave blogger friends.

Its been soooooo cold in NYC- definitely not loving the weather.
Todays look was all about comfort and bringing some color into the gloomy/snowy weather here.
I'm mentally preparing myself for tomorrow's Polyvore Live Fashion show with CoverGirl!
Prettttty damn nervous, but make sure to watch the show live streamed on Polyvore.com/live at 6:30 pm E.T.
Wish me tons of luck!

Just got back today from NYC from an adventurous weekend in the Big COLD Apple!
Here's a quick small recap of just a few things I was up to via my Instagram.
Hope you enjoy!
ps: Have to sort through all my photos so hang in there and my regular posting
will continue!

Thank you all for all your sweet words and everyone who tuned in to watch the Polyvore Live streamed show on Monday! Did you guys see me? You can still watch it here.

Faux Fur Coat: Zara (similar here) // Scarf: F21 // Bag: Alexander Wang (leather here, canvas here) // Sunglasseses: Ray Ban

This is what was on rotation while I was in NYC.
Didn't bring another coat (besides leather jackets) so this definitely came in handy,
plus it was such a show stopper. My bag has definitely been a staple- its big, spacious and sturdy
to carry all of my belongings (huge pluuus).
Still sorting through pics so please excuse the lack of posts this week... I just got back from
Vegas last night (we left the day after I got back from nyc) so I'm beyond exausted from
all the travel. We checked out Project and was very cool to meet some of my favorite brands...
I'm back home now (whew! finally!) so I'll have time to finally post and reply to emails which
I'm soooo behind on (will get to your emails asap!)
Have a pretty Friday!

All clothing from Joie (except scarf)

While I was in New York, I had the pleasure of visiting the Joie flagship store to check
out the new collections and of snapping some photos for a cute Joie feature!
Totally swooned over every piece in there and all the amazing prints/fabrics/textures.
The store itself was a gem and felt like such a pretty, well-organized walk-in closet!
Took home a couple pieces that I've been wearing religiously and well you can't really blame me...a leather tee/blouse anyone?
Will be posting an outfit with the pieces!
Stay tuned!
Thank you Joie and Michelle for having me!

A few behind the scene shots from Polyvore's Live runway show presented by CoverGirl
 last week during NYFW.
It was such a fun, memorable experience and I'm so thankful to have been a part of it. Got to experience this with some of my close blogger friends as well as meet new ones and work with such amazing talent, like stylists Anda & Masha and the wonderful/sweet Polyvore gang
 (Hi Eugenia + Belinda!).
Although, I was completely terrified of the actual "runway walk", I got through it better than what I had hoped for. Totally panicked when I shouldn't of.
I had the opportunity to wear two pieces from two FIT alumni students;
first up was Lauren Bagliore whose collection was followed by Dana-Maxx (pictured in #8).
Loved both collections and how contrasting they were against each other!
Thank you Polyvore for having me be a part of this- will forever treasure this
experience!
Thank you all who watched the show!

Skinnies: GAP // Blazer: f21 // Flats: Zara // Bag: Alexander Wang // Watch: Fossil // Shades: Ray Ban

Had quick errands to run and a meeting yesterday so I wore this to do both- totally comfy and chic!
This cropped hot pink blazer is my new fave purchase; I mean, it's such an updated version of a blazer and such a bold color that I can mix and match it with a lot of things (heads up: you might see this on the blog often)
Oh, and went to get a manicure yesterday and couldn't decide on a color so I decided to just
do the ombré nails! Looooooveeeeeee!
What do you think of them? Yes? No?

Jacket: Zara (cool ones here and here // Leather tee: gifted Joie // Dress worn as skirt: Jil Stuart // Heels: Pierre Hardy // Bag: gifted ASOS // Shades: Ray Ban

I wore this dress to my college (F.I.D.M) graduation two years ago and sadly it's
been hanging in my closet collecting dust ever since.
As much as I've tried to wear it to events, I always put it back in the hanger because it just doesn't feel like the "appropriate" time to wear it. Although you can't see the full dress because I wore my leather tee over it, the detailing on the upper body is so pretty (i'll show you guys the full dress on a different occasion). To make it more simple and wearable, I layered it with the leather tee + motorcycle jacket- this way it's more daytime appropriate!
*Challenge yourself to pull out one of your fancy dresses and layer it to dress it down
and make it more suitable for the day!
Happy weekend!

Dippin' in a cab with my boo Aimee as we headed to the Bloglovin' awards after-party!
Always loved those cab ride photos especially in NYC... it's a necessary shot.
(Just like if you visit LA, you have to take photos on a street full of palm trees)

Seeing my hair this way makes me really want to grow out my bangs; they're rather long at the moment so hopefully I can be patient and hold off on cutting them- we'll see though
how long that lasts.
Btw, love my headwear? It'll be available for sale next week- it's my 2nd collaboration piece
with the lovely Gabriela Artigas! It's a duo piece: headband + statement necklace!
Stay tuned for the release next week!

It's definitely plain to see that I've ditched the heels to wear flats ( or sneakers...still trying to score these) lately and I couldn't be happier.
oh and I've been living in this amaaaazing, comfy, oversize tee dress all weekend- such a staple!
Happy Monday guys!
